The Welsh Athletics Mountain Running Championships 5 August 2023

The Welsh Athletics Mountain Running Championships took place at Llanberis on Saturday, 5th August, comprising the Maesgwm Detour event, well organised by Mike Blake.  The event was a British FRA counter and the Welsh Athletics Inter-Regional. North Wales won both the male and female team gold medals as well as the male and female champions.  Congratulations to the teams (Male – Jez Brown, Sion Edwards, Gavin Roberts & Ifan Oldfield, Female – Anna Drinkwater, Joanne Henderson & Kasia Osipowicz) and to the individuals Gavin Roberts and Joanne Henderson.
